That was a fantastic moment! Working on this cinematic trailer for Divinity was a very special and enjoyable experience.
I’m very happy to have had this opportunity given by Larian Studios after our last collaboration on Baldur’s Gate 3.
I worked as an environment artist this time. I made several props, worked on environment assembly and handled composition.
Obviously, I wasn’t alone on this.
Hadrien Ottevaere did an amazing job on the effigy statues.
Lucas Quennehen, Hermance Bailly, and Pierre-Lou Guillore also worked on this scene, creating props and objects that I used and added to the environment.
Everyone did beautiful work and it was a real pleasure to bring this background to life.
I also have to mention Jeremy Ageron, who was the Senior Lighting Artist and Supervisor on this film. He was responsible for the beautiful lighting and images you can see in the trailer.
Maï-ly Briffaut was the Unit Line Producer and the main point of communication between us and Larian.
Once again, thank you to Larian Studios, Unit Image and all the talented artists who worked on this poetic project.
